Last weeek at 1 Bay Street, the Watch Hill Fire Department gathered for our Annual Awards Banquet to celebrate the dedication and service of our incredible firefighters. It was an evening filled with appreciation, camaraderie, and even a little excitement — a fire alarm call came in right in the middle of dinner! But, as always, our team answered the call without hesitation. 💪

🏅 Carl Greene Dedicated Service to the Department Award: Assistant Chief Christopher Koretski
🏅 Shep Simmons Dedicated Service to the Company Award: Chaplain Cal Lord
🏅 Charles S. Desillier Dedicated Service to the District Award: BOE Member Andrew “Buck” Barber
👏 A huge THANK YOU to the Banquet Committee — Lieutenant Rees Harold, Chaplain Cal Lord, and FF Chris Wood — for putting together such a meaningful evening.
And special thanks to Becky and the entire staff of The Watch Hill Conservancy and 1 Bay Street for hosting us so graciously, as well as Chef Jamie and all of the student chefs from Westerly High School’s Highland Grill for catering an amazing meal that everyone enjoyed!
