Recently, groups of 2 or more coyotes have been seen walking on Bay Street in the village during the evening hours. We would like to remind everyone to always secure your trash in closed containers, eliminate any outdoor food sources and never leave your pets out unsupervised, especially at night. Coyote sightings should be reported to the RIDEM at 401-789-0281. In case of emergency, contact the Westerly Police at 401-596-2022.
